Therapy Intensives

Therapy intensives are designed for people ready to stop ending up in the same place and actually do something about it.
Some people arrive knowing exactly what the pattern is. Others just know something keeps going wrong and they can’t figure out why. Both are good reasons to be here.
Who Therapy Intensives Are For
People who have tried to figure this out on their own and keep ending up in the same place.
People who are successful, capable and completely stuck in their relationship.
People sitting with a decision they can’t seem to make no matter how much they think about it.
People who have done therapy before and feel like they’ve hit a ceiling.
People who are done talking about it and ready to actually move.
My Approach to Intensives
Weekly therapy is valuable. But 50 minutes has a ceiling.
An intensive gives us the time to get past the part where you explain everything and actually get to work. No waiting until next week. No losing momentum between sessions. Just focused, uninterrupted work on the thing that matters most right now.
What People Often Leave With
Every intensive is different, but most people don’t leave with a completely new understanding of themselves. They leave with a different relationship to what they already know.
Most of my clients arrive with far more insight than they give themselves credit for. By the end of an intensive, many feel clearer about a decision they’ve been struggling to make, more confident in what they already know, and less caught in the cycle of thinking about the same problem from every possible angle.
The shifts are often practical and surprisingly noticeable. You stop replaying conversations on the drive home. You say no without spending the next three days wondering if you’ve damaged the relationship. A difficult conversation comes up and you stay present instead of shutting down or saying whatever makes it stop fastest.
Some people notice they’re making decisions more cleanly. Others find that relationships which once felt confusing begin to make more sense. Boundaries that seemed impossible start to feel achievable.
What most people describe is some version of this: they feel more like themselves. Not a new self. Just less defended, less managed, and more present in their own life.
The goal isn’t to solve every problem in a single day. The goal is to create meaningful movement where things have felt stuck.
What An Intensive Looks Like
Therapy intensives are extended sessions designed to help us slow down, look closely at patterns and begin shifting how you respond in real time.
We start with a consultation to talk through what feels stuck, what you’re hoping to shift and whether this format makes sense for your situation. Depending on the depth and complexity of what you’re working through, I may recommend a 3-hour, 6-hour or multi-session intensive.
Why Work With Me
Most people who reach out to me aren’t lacking insight. They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and often know exactly what the pattern is. What they can’t seem to do is change it when it matters most.
For nearly three decades, I’ve worked with people struggling with relationship patterns, difficult family dynamics, major life decisions, anxiety, grief, and the frustrating gap between understanding a problem and actually responding differently. Long before I offered therapy intensives in private practice, I spent years working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs where focused, concentrated work was part of everyday practice. The format wasn’t something I learned in a weekend training. It was how I learned to work.
I’ve also been providing therapy online since 2013, long before virtual therapy became common. Over the years, I’ve learned how to create the kind of depth, connection, and momentum that allows meaningful work to happen, even through a screen.
Therapy intensives aren’t about cramming months of therapy into a single day. They’re about creating enough space to move beyond insight and begin making different choices in the places where people most often feel stuck.
Intensive Options
Clarity Intensive — 3 Hours

How to Begin
The first step is a brief consultation. It’s a conversation, not a commitment.
We talk through what’s going on, whether an intensive makes sense and which format fits where you are right now. You leave the consultation with clarity either way.
If it’s a good fit, we get started. If it’s not, I’ll tell you that, too.
